Zerock is an experienced EPC contractor delivering turnkey AIS and GIS substation projects across VHV/HV/MV levels, transmission infrastructure and industrial power systems across Sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East.
Our scope covers the full project lifecycle, from system studies and detailed engineering through procurement, construction, commissioning, and operator training, for both new-build and live-site brownfield upgrades up to 400 kV.
The portfolio includes the Congo 220 kV Corridor Program with ENI, spanning the rehabilitation and expansion of nine substations from Pointe-Noire to Brazzaville, as well as MV distribution networks, industrial power links such as the Loudima-AgriHub 35 kV connection, the Malolo 35 kV line and campus power systems for institutional projects including the Centre of Excellence in Oyo and the Brazzaville Temple complex.
These references demonstrate our ability to deliver complex electrical infrastructure under operational constraints, in remote locations, and across challenging logistics corridors.

Key Expertise
HV Substations: Turnkey delivery of AIS and GIS substations up to 220 kV, including line, transformer, capacitor, reactance and busbar bays, with all HV primary equipment
MV Distribution: Medium-voltage networks, switchgear programs, overhead lines, and industrial power systems across the 10–35 kV range for agricultural, industrial, and institutional facilities.
Transmission Lines: Condition assessment, rehabilitation, and maintenance of high-voltage transmission corridors, including tower inspections, conductor evaluation, and right-of-way surveys.
Protection & SCADA: Protection and control systems built on IEC 61850 and other utility standards, including SCADA/CCN gateways, fault recorders, and end-to-end teleprotection ensuring grid-code compliance and dispatch connectivity.
Live-Site Upgrades: Sequenced expansions on energized substations through rigorous outage planning, cut-over sequencing, hot-stick protocols, and LOTO-controlled switching.
Testing & Commissioning: Primary and secondary injection, scheme and functional tests, insulation and VLF/PD diagnostics, protection and SCADA, and integrated performance verification through to energization.
Readiness & Training: As-built documentation, O&M manuals, spares provisioning, and tailored operator training to ensure seamless transition from construction to operations.
HSE & Quality: Structured permit-to-work systems, task risk analysis, inspection and test plans, and a proven record of zero-LTI delivery on flagship programs.
